Tattoo Aftercare
If your tattoo is bandaged with second skin:

Remove the bandage after 7 days.

If the bandage is difficult to remove, remove in the shower or under water.

Remove the bandage slowly from top to bottom.

Apply provided vitamin A & D ointment to your tattoo whenever dry until your tattoo is fully healed.
If your tattoo has the traditional bandaging:

Remove the wrap within 2 hours of leaving the shop.

Lather our hands with a gentle unscented soap, and very gently wash your tattoo with the soap and rinse.

Pat dry with a paper towel. DO NOT use a cloth towel. DO NOT rub the tattoo.

Wash once in the morning, and once at night.

DO NOT over wash the tattoo.

DO NOT re-wrap the tattoo.

After 2-3 days, begin to apply provided vitamin A & D ointment to the tattoo until healed.
During the healing process:

Apply a thin layer to vitamin A & D ointment. DO NOT oversaturate the tattoo.

If you run out of A & D ointment, any plain unscented lotion will work.

Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 10-14 days.

For 2 weeks, do not submerge your tattoo. (ex – baths, dishes, pools, hot tubs, etc).

Do not rub, scratch, or pick at your tattoo while it is healing. Patting the tattoo is okay to relieve itching.

After two weeks, apply a minimum of SPF 25 sunscreen to your tattoo to avoid fading/damaging your new tattoo.
